I have had significant dreams and visions on VALLEYS. Valleys represent a “low time” in your life or it can reveal a time of “pioneering something new.” It’s a time of death & life.
I have had BOTH types of representations, and every time – I get surrounded by a lovely feeling of awe and wonder.
When you are in the valley, there is a very strong, serene sense of God’s presence in your life though the outward circumstances might look dark and dim. Why? Because you quiet yourself to get captured by God. It’s alone time with Him and that’s when He gets really MAGNIFIED in your life.
“Less of me and More of Him. His supply is abundant as we become ONE.”
I chose this photo because it looks exactly like the valleys in my dreams and visions. There’s a crisp, flowing stream running through it while 2 mountains exist on two opposing sides.
MOUNTAINS represent the difficult and the struggles in your life as well as representing your ability and authority to OVERCOME and rule from a place of rest.
IN ONE DREAM, in the valley – there were rows and rows of a plowed field, and it was endless it seemed. This lush vegetable garden was on the other side of the stream. I had:
- Crops of “Ginger” (Strong Desire/Hopes/Goals) was BEFORE me [future].
- Crops of “Green Onions” (Tears & Sorrow) was BEHIND me [past].
I had a “sickle” in my hand which symbolized that a time of REAPING was coming for me. Thus, demonstrating to me the principle of “sowing & reaping”.
Whatever you’re going through, remember: “Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me.” ~Psalm 23:4
